Summer Writing Camps

Small Group Instruction: Grades 6-8

Dynamic writing is a process. One of the best ways to enhance writing is for small groups of students to become a collective “think tank”, brainstorming and sharing ideas together. Given an audience, middle school students generate enthusiasm about their ideas. By offering and receiving constructive feedback, students identify a writer’s strengths and weaknesses and learn to effectively revise their own writing. The summer writing camps provide critical skills necessary for academic success while having fun at the same time.
